Serum Presets – Compatible with Serum 1 & Serum 2
Our Serum presets are fully compatible with both Serum 1 and Serum 2. In Serum 2, additional macros have been introduced, allowing for greater control and flexibility. Many of these presets also feature the option to modulate the new Oscillator C, providing expanded sound design possibilities.
Additionally, several Serum 2 presets include return effects, which can be adjusted via macros for even more dynamic shaping. While the core sounds remain identical in both versions, the macros differ—offering enhanced functionality in Serum 2 due to the extended modulation options with the new oscillator.
Voltage - Club Sound Vol. 1 contains a total of 70 presets.

After your purchase, you will receive a direct download link. Additionally, we will send you an email containing the bundle for download. We will send you a zip file that you need to decompress. You should then drag the folders with the individual presets into your Serum library on your Mac/Computer. Library -> Audio -> Presets -> XFerRecords. Please make sure you have a valid license for Serum and that you always use the latest upgrade. Once the sounds are in the folder, you can start using them right away.
The presets help you quickly and easily find the right sound for your production. Since the presets are professional sounds that are already included in thousands of major songs, they come with their own unique effects chains. If you want to create your own sound, simply modifying your wavetable in Serum is often enough to quickly give it a completely unique sound created by you. Therefore, presets can also lead to a unique sound.

You’ll get 10 full Serum packs featuring 810 presets in total — covering Tech House, Melodic Techno, Afro House & more. Each preset is fully tagged, organized, and ready to use out of the box.
Our newer packs were created using Serum 2 presets, so you’ll need the latest version of Serum 2 to load them correctly.
For packs released before March 2025, you can use the latest update of Serum 1.
Are the presets compatible with every DAW?
Absolutely. As long as your DAW supports Xfer Serum and you have a valid, up-to-date version of the plugin installed, you can use the presets in any major DAW — including Ableton, FL Studio, Logic, Cubase, Bitwig, and more.
The main focus is on Serum presets (810 total), but the bundle also includes bonus drum samples for faster track creation.
Additionally, several of the included packs — Voltage Vol. 1–3, Artist Vol. 10, and Blueprint — each come with their own drum sample collections, featuring loops and one-shots.
In total, you’ll get five full drum sample packs alongside the Serum presets.
Yes — all sounds are 100% royalty-free. You can use them in your own tracks, sell your music, and release on any label with no additional costs.
After your purchase, you’ll receive a download link. Download and unzip the .zip file first. Then place the preset folders into your sound library:
Mac example:
Library → Audio → XferRecords → Presets →
Serum 1 presets: put all Serum 1 files (.fxp) into your Serum 1 presets folder.
Serum 2 presets: put all Serum 2 packs (.serum2presets) into your Serum 2 folder.
Important: Serum 1 and Serum 2 presets must be stored in their separate folders (because of the different file formats).
After moving the files, restart your DAW or rescan Serum’s browser so the new presets appear.
